The Return of the Living Dead has been one of horror history’s most celebrated zombie movies for over four decades. Now, the beloved cult classic will be honored once again with the two iconic zombies from the official poster getting the Funko Pop treatment!
As of now, pre-orders have gone live for Funko Pop versions of Zombie Trash and Zombie Suicide. They are the zombified versions of the characters played in the film by Linnea Quigley and Mark Venturini, and the artwork of the two on the official poster has long been among the most legendary horror imagery. That makes the Funko Pops must-have collectibles for genre fans, especially those who particularly love The Return of the Living Dead.
Written and directed by Dan O’Bannon, The Return of the Living Dead is partly a spoof of the style of zombie movies popularized by George A. Romero. Because it was so well received by horror fans, it wound up spawning a franchise of its own. It has been given four sequels in years past, and a new Return of the Living Dead film is currently in the works, expected to arrive later this year.

The new Funko Pops are now available for pre-order from multiple retailers, including Amazon and Big Bad Toy Store. They will officially start shipping on April 12, 2026.
