This fall, Michael Myers is coming home… and the heroes of Haddonfield will be waiting for him. Developed by Illfonic, the Halloween game is set to be released on Sept. 8. This week, the first official photos were released of five playable civilian characters who will be available to pick at the game’s launch. Now, another new look at these characters has been revealed, with each of the five characters getting new solo images shared.

These include images of the “charming, bubbly Haddonfield trendsetter,” Tanya Harrison; the biker whose “history with Haddonfield kept him away, but he chose one hell of a time to come back,” Marcus Navarro; the “aspiring mortician fascinated by death and often displeased by the living,” Rachel Calahan; the football-playing college student who’s “courageous, confident, and quick to step up for the people he cares about,” Thomas Armitage; and last but not least, Jennifer Aarons, who’s “well-read and well-prepared for whatever comes her way on Halloween night.”

Of course, there will be many fans wondering if more characters beyond this core five will be available to play as in Halloween. That seems more likely than not, as asymmetrical horror games in the vein of Halloween have commonly introduced new playable characters after launch. It’s not outside the realm of possibility that Laurie Strode and other characters featured in Halloween could be added to the fray. With that noted, no other characters have been officially announced at this time.

It’s also known that the game will offer more than an asymmetrical multiplayer mode for gamers. A single player mode has also been confirmed, and the idea is for this mode to delve into unseen events that happened off-screen during the events of the original Halloween film. Not much else has been revealed about the single player mode beyond that at this time, but as the marketing for the Halloween game continues, more info is expected to be divulged very soon.
