It’s an interesting mix of horrors, thrillers, and sci-fi films that will be added to the Netflix streaming service for January 2019. Kicking off the new year, we’ll be seeing some familiar favorites along with a few intriguing Netflix originals. The Mummy

Synopsis: At an archaeological dig in the ancient city of Hamunaptra, an American serving in the French Foreign Legion accidentally awakens a mummy who begins to wreck havoc as he searches for the reincarnation of his long-lost love.

The Mummy Returns

Synopsis: The mummified body of Imhotep is shipped to a museum in London, where he once again wakes and begins his campaign of rage and terror.

Pan’s Laybrinth

Synopsis: Following a bloody civil war, young Ofelia enters a world of unimaginable cruelty when she moves in with her new stepfather, a tyrannical military officer. Armed with only her imagination, Ofelia discovers a mysterious labyrinth and meets a faun who sets her on a path to saving herself and her ailing mother. But soon, the lines between fantasy and reality begin to blur, and before Ofelia can turn back, she finds herself at the center of a ferocious battle between good and evil.

Synopsis: A young couple staying in an isolated vacation home are terrorized by three unknown assailants.
