NECA Reveals Roy Burns, Michael Myers, and Pennywise

Toy Fair 2019 is currently under way, which means we’re seeing tons of totally rad reveals from major toy companies like NECA. The company is famous for their fine attention to detail with bringing iconic characters to life as action figures, and their newest additions will be no exception. Officially revealed at the event from NECA are Friday the 13th: A New Beginning‘s Roy Burns, Halloween (2018)’s Michael Myers, Halloween II‘s Michael Myers, and It antagonist Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

As Toy Fair continues, we expect many more reveals to be announced, and we’ll be keeping an eye on what else NECA has in store for us. Keep checking back for more updates. For now, check out your first look at four awesome horror figures joining the company’s toy line.

Up first is Roy Burns, the copycat killer portrayed by Dick Wieand in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. While not technically Jason Voorhees, Roy is certainly no less deadly, killing nearly 20 people in the 1985 sequel. Although the movie was controversial at the time for its Roy reveal at the end, A New Beginning has maintained a growing cult following, with many fans clamoring for more merchandise from the movie. The new Roy figure comes with many of his various instruments of death, including a flare, a spike, and a leather strap. Of course, the Jason mask can be removed, unveiling Roy’s true identity. Roy will be shipping in Q2 2019, and you can see more over at NECA’s official website.

Michael Myers as seen in David Gordon Green’s Halloween movie is also getting a new 1/4 scale action figure from NECA. This Michael stands at 18″ tall and comes with accessories including weapons and a carved policeman’s head. He’s expected to arrive in Q3 2019. Additionally, Michael Myers from Halloween II is also getting a new scale figure, but he will be shorter comparatively at 7″ tall. He comes with tons of accessories, including an interchangeable head to turn him into Ben Tramer. Finally, Pennywise from 2017’s It movie is getting a new 1/4 scale action figure from NECA as well. He comes with interchangeable hands and his trademark red balloon, and for big fans of the movie, this oversized Pennywise will make a great addition to your home. He arrives in Q3 2019, and you can see more over at NECA’s website!
