Respawn Entertainment’s upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game was shown off a lot during this year’s E3 conferences, and it looks incredible. From what we’ve seen of the gameplay already, it looks like it has a dense and interesting story; that’s where the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – Dark Temple comic comes in handy.
In September 2019, Marvel Comics will publish a 5-issue limited series that covers the events leading up to the video game. The comic will be written by Matthew Rosenberg (Punisher and Uncanny X-Men) with art by Paolo Villanelli (Vader: Dark Visions) and will follow the Jedi master Eno Cordova and his padawan Cere Jundi on a mission that becomes much more than they signed on for. On a trip to the planet Ontotho to supervise the excavation of an ancient temple, they soon find themselves in the middle of a war between local resistance and security troops.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – Dark Temple was created through a partnership with Respawn Entertainment, Lucasfilm, and Marvel Comics and will begin when issue #1 releases in September. The comic features the main protagonist of the video game, Cere, in the events leading up to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It sounds like a must-read for anyone picking up the game when it comes out on November 15th, 2019.
