Funko has already immortalized tons of WWE superstars already, but it goes without saying that there’s still a long list of names they’re missing. WWE (WWF at the time) got big in the 1980’s so that’s almost 40 years worth of superstars. It’s going to take Funko a while to catch up. But the latest wave in the line serves to do just that.
The new line will pop-ify many superstars and personalities that haven’t received a pop yet. The new line will include the late, great, Mean Gene Okerlund with his signature suit and WWE microphone. Up next is The Miz in his trademark white, silver, and black gear. While John Cena has gotten pops before, this is the first time we’ll be getting a Thugonomics John Cena pop, decked out with his ‘Word Life’ rings.
Two of the new pops in the line will be receiving Chase variants as well. First up is Naomi, with her Chase where you’ll literally be able to ‘Feel The Glow’ as it is a glow-in-the-dark Chase. The other pop to receive a Chase variant is Kevin Nash. Regular pop will be Kevin Nash as Diesel, and the Chase variant is Kevin Nash in his iconic NWO outfit.
Those pops listed already will be available wherever pops are sold, but that’s not all. Two of the new pops in the line will be store exclusives, and they may just be the best out of the set. Amazon will be receiving The Fiend Bray Wyatt as an exclusive. This one looks amazing and is actually up for pre-order right now. Finally, Walmart will be getting an exclusive Hulk Hogan with the signature ripping of the shirt.
