Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness has quickly become a pop culture phenomenon with the Netflix documentary series diving into the world of big cats with a particular focus on Carole Baskin and Joe Exotic. By the end of the series, Joe Exotic is in prison for his part in an alleged murder-for-hire plot to have Baskin killed. Still, for many viewers, Baskin needs to be the one locked up, as some believe the CEO of Big Cat Rescue is directly involved with the disappearance of her former husband, Don Lewis.
On social media, people have been discussing the strange fate of Mr. Lewis, and now Elvira, the Mistress of the Dark is weighing in on the fiasco. In a parody video posted online, Elvira does her best Carole Baskin impression by wearing her signature flower crown. The key difference here is that Elvira is speaking from Big Bat Rescue, which is much more fitting for the horror hostess. Elvira also touches on Don and the common belief that Baskin must have fed him to her tigers in a dark but amusing way. You can watch the video for yourself below to see what I mean.

Elvira has been posting plenty of entertaining videos on her social media feeds lately, and it just makes me wonder why she doesn’t yet have a new television series. She remains just as entertaining as ever, and parodies like this just leave me wanting to see more from the Mistress of the Dark. Elvira herself has also suggested she’d be up for returning to host a new series for the modern horror audience, so all of the stars are aligned to make it a reality. What gives?
