Wet Paint Pictures, the team behind the Friday the 13th fan film Voorhees, has announced their next film. After getting gory in the ultra-violent Voorhees, the filmmakers are now switching gears with the romantic drama movie Smack. Voorhees director Cody Faulk (Bloody Summer Camp) co-stars in the new film alongside Emily Classen.

A teaser is said to be coming soon, but the synopsis has been revealed. Per the team, Smack “depicts a passionate couple whose love is quickly tangled in a world of false remedy. It’s a downward spiral of drug dependency that ultimately smacks them in the face.”
