13 Fanboy, Deborah Voorhees’ (Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning) upcoming meta-horror movie starring Dee Wallace and many Friday the 13th stars, is out this fall. Directed by Voorhees, the film is about a homicidal lunatic who’s deathly obsessed with horror movies… the Friday the 13th films, in particular.
This obsession turns deadly when 13 Fanboy begins, and the maniac starts taking out stars of the franchise, with legendary scream queen Dee Wallace also serving as a target.
After a successful crowdfunding campaign, 13 Fanboy has completed production and will be released very soon. Voorhees has announced that the film will be officially released on Oct. 22, 2021. The film will be available to watch on Demand, though the filmmakers are working on getting it a theatrical release in at least ten major cities in the United States. Playing the film at drive-in movie theaters is also a possibility.
The film introduces Haley Greenbauer and stars Dee Wallace. Representing the Friday the 13th films are Kane Hodder, Jennifer Banko, and Lar Park Lincoln (The New Blood), C.J. Graham (Jason Lives), Judie Aronson (The Final Chapter), Tracie Savage (Part III), Ron Sloan, Carol Locatell, and Deborah Voorhees (A New Beginning), and Never Hike Alone‘s Vincente DiSanti and Andrew Leighty. The Final Chapter star Corey Feldman also appears in the film, but unlike the other talents, he’s not playing himself. This could be one of Feldman’s final roles on screen as he’s considering retirement from acting.

Synopsis: As a child, Kelsie witnesses the murder of her grandmother, a Friday the 13th actress, at the hands of a crazy fanboy. As an adult, she discovers her grandmother isn’t the only victim and finds herself battling to save the life of her grandmother’s best friend, also an actress from Friday the 13th, only to find the killer is now targeting her. But who is the killer?
