This premium hardcover book results from unrestricted access to Double Fine’s art and game design archives, untold stories from the people involved, and a desire to make public the unique approaches and practices of one of the world’s most creative video game studios.

20 Double Fine Years covers every game the company has released, from their Psychonauts debut to Brütal Legend, Costume Quest, Stacking, Broken Age, Psychonauts 2, the Remasters of Lucasarts Classic Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle, and more. Weighing in at 288 pages, the book also features a discussion of its contributions to the industry, from indie game celebration Day of the Devs to the documentaries of 2 Player Productions that shine a light on the realities of game development.
