Back in 1988, Jeff Freilich wanted to capitalize on the success of the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, and created a two-season, 44-episode anthological series called Freddy’s Nightmares. Much like the Friday the 13th series that premiered a year prior, Freddy’s Nightmares had little to do with the actual franchise, save for Robert Englund returning to play his classic Freddy Krueger character in an episodic host-style role, and appear in a couple of the stories. The series attracted a lot of horror staple directors, including Tobe Hooper, Mick Garris, and Robert Englund himself.

Though the series is almost impossible to find in physical format, and isn’t available on any streaming services, Terror Vision Records and Video and Bloody Disgusting have teamed up to release the complete Freddy’s Nightmares soundtrack for the first time on any format ever, on vinyl this month.

The new vinyl release will be available with a couple of options. You can choose a “Best Of” LP or go with a triple LP that comes with a complete full Freddy’s Nightmares episode guide. A bundle will also be available, which includes a t-shirt, holographic stickers, enamel pins, and the complete episode guide.

Terror Vision Records and Video will be taking pre-orders for the Freddy’s Nightmares vinyl at 12PM on Friday, November 12th, 2021, via their website (https://www.terror-vision.com/).
