Filmmaker Jordan Peele, who is quickly becoming known as one of the best modern horror directors in Hollywood, is slated to release his fourth feature film next year. Peele broke out onto the big screen in 2017 with his psychological horror film Get Out, which garnered him an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Since his debut film, he also directed the thrilling horror flick US in 2019 and the adventurous science fiction-horror film Nope, in 2022.
According to Variety, Universal Pictures has added “Untitled Fourth Film Directed by Jordan Peele” to their slate for 2024. Like most of Peele’s movies, almost no information has been released regarding his next film. The ambiguity and unknown nature of his films leading up to them have worked out well, as both critics and audience members have been mostly blown away by his surprising scenes and stories, as well as the incredible performances from his actors. Peele’s films have made more than $650 million at the box office.

Though no casting news has been released for Peele’s upcoming fourth film, Peele did publicly state that Daniel Kaluuya was his “Favorite actor in the world.” The two worked together on both Get Out and Nope, so it’s not a stretch that they could come together again in Peele’s next movie.
Peele has stayed busy in the last couple of years. Aside from directing Nope, he co-wrote the screenplay to Nia DaCosta’s Candyman, he was Executive Producer for Prime Video’s hit show Hunters, and he helped write and star in Netflix’s animated film, Wendell & Wild, the most recent film directed by Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline).
Obviously, dates can change over the course of a year, but as of now, Jordan Peele’s next film is scheduled to release on December 25th, 2024. Merry Christmas to us!
