Hardscrabble Film Company, Torfoot Entertainment Group, and Radiant Films have unveiled a brand-new clip from their upcoming creature feature, The Yeti, which will screen on Monday, September 8, at the TIFF Lightbox as part of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Market Screenings.
In the remote wilds of northern Alaska, a famed adventurer and an oil tycoon vanish without a trace. Their children set out on a desperate rescue mission only to discover that something far older and more dangerous than the Arctic itself has awakened. A prehistoric predator is stalking them. The legend is real. The hunter is the Yeti.
The Yeti features a powerhouse ensemble cast, including Emmy Award-winner Brittany Allen (Dexter: Original Sin, The Boys), Emmy & Tony Award-winner Eric Nelsen (1883, The Affair), Emmy & Golden Globe nominee Corbin Bernsen (Psych, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, L.A. Law), Jim Cummings (Thunder Road, The Last Stop in Yuma County), Emmy & Peabody Award-winner Gene Gallerano (American Symphony, Law and Order), Christina Bennett Lind (Atlanta, House of Cards), Heather Lind (Your Friends and Neighbors, Boardwalk Empire, Turn: Washington’s Spies), and William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption, Salem’s Lot, The Green Mile).

“We created The Yeti as an elevated creature feature, harkening back to the golden age of monster movies when horror relied on practical effects, suspense, and well-rounded characters,” said directors William Pisciotta and Gene Gallerano. “We love that 1950s Cinemascope sentiment combined with our backyard JJ Abrams-style filmmaking and aesthetic.”
The Yeti is directed by William Pisciotta and Gene Gallerano, and produced by Pisciotta, Johnathan Brownlee, and Ross Meyerson. Jim Cummings and PJ McCabe of Cool & Happy Limited and Brittany Allen serve as Executive Producers. Radiant Films is handling international sales, while Torfoot Entertainment Group is overseeing North American sales.
