Star Wars alum Daisy Ridley has traded in her lightsaber for an axe in her latest film, We Bury the Dead, and if you missed it in theaters, now is your chance to watch it at home. We Bury the Dead has officially been made available to rent or purchase on Digital!

Written and directed by Zak Hilditch, We Bury the Dead stars Ridley as a woman looking to locate her missing husband while taking on the living dead. The film also stars Mark Coles Smith and Brenton Thwaites.

The official synopsis for the film reads, “After a catastrophic military disaster, the dead don’t just rise – they hunt. Ava (Daisy Ridley) searches for her missing husband, but what she finds is far more terrifying.”

Reception was largely positive. We Bury the Dead has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 87%, making it Certified Fresh. Horror Geek Life’s official review of the movie by Jeff Fountain praised the “new spin” that We Bury the Dead was able to bring to zombie movies, a notable feat given how much of that territory has been heavily explored on the big and small screens in more recent years.
