IllFonic’s Halloween game is heading to PAX East, allowing those in attendance a chance to play a demo months ahead of release. A new teaser has also been released in promotion of the occasion, and though it’s brief, it provides a sneak peek at some of the kills that will be on display in the upcoming game.
An asymmetrical multiplayer experience, Halloween will have one player controlling Michael Myers as the masked murderer embarks on a Halloween night killing spree in Haddonfield. Four others will control the “heroes” who are hoping to stop him and save the town. The newest teaser sees Michael in action with a kitchen knife, including one moment where he takes it to one unfortunate character’s throat. An environmental kill is also showcased, while another moment reveals a hero character fighting back with an ax.

The Halloween game will be released on Sept. 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
