‘The VelociPastor’ Sequel Now in the Works

The VelociPastor is getting an official sequel, as the awesomeness that is the first film cannot be contained within a single installment. Directed by Brendan Steere, the bizarre movie’s origins come oddly enough come from Steere’s cell phone auto-correcting “Velociraptor” to “Veloci Pastor,” and when fate gives you the greatest idea for a movie of all time, you take it. The result is one of the wildest films you’ll ever see, and I mean that in the best possible way.

Obviously, The VelociPastor is exactly how it sounds. The film follows a priest who attains the supernatural ability to transform himself into a dinosaur, and he naturally uses these newfound powers for good. The power of Christ might compel Regan MacNeil, but for the ninjas in The VelociPastor, the man of the cloth will need some additional help to defeat them. Turning into a dinosaur goes a long way with solving these problems, and it’s nice to know that the new adventures of the VelociPastor are not yet over.

On Twitter, the official account for The VelociPastor posted an image of a screenplay, noting that it’s the first printing of the sequel script. No additional details about the next story in the VelociPastor saga are given, but as long as vigilante pastor Doug Jones returns for more prehistoric crime fighting, I’ll be happy. You can look at the announcement tweet for The VelociPastor 2 below.
