Dark Sky Films announced that The Stakelander, sequel to 2010’s vamp flick Stake Land, has completed production as of last week. It will take place a few years after the first film, with both Nick Damici and Connor Paolo reprising their roles as Mister and Martin. The film was directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen and is based on a screenplay by Damici.
The Stakelander was produced by Larry Fessenden and Peter Phok of Glass Eye Pix, Greg Newman of Dark Sky Films and co-produced by the Syfy Channel. An official release date has not be disclosed, but we do know it will premiere as a Syfy Original.
