Last month will probably go on record as the most loaded March across all mediums. Video games, films, and TV series’ premieres ran amok and destroyed our free time. As I briefly peel myself away from Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF) screenings, let’s look at the April 2017 films that are most likely to tickle one’s fancy.
Outside of these 8 films, you still have Fate of the Furious, The Transfiguration, Born in China, The Circle, and so many more that could pass the time in an enjoyable fashion. Enjoy this somewhat-quiet month of content before the summer movie season further dismantles your spare time.
2. The Void
Release Date: April 7th
We managed to sneak a peak at the upcoming horror mind-bender The Void at DIFF, so expect a full review soon as we attempt to make sense of what we saw. In the meantime, feel good about getting hyped for this film, as it wholly delivers on both the crazy and scary fronts. Will you fully comprehend every aspect of the movie after your first viewing? Unlikely – but you’ll be thinking about it for days after. Additionally, the picture’s practical approach to its…”monsters” is refreshing and commendable.
