South by Southwest Conference and Festivals (SXSW) has announced that Brendan Greene, aka PLAYERUNKNOWN, will be a featured speaker at SXSW Gaming 2018. Greene is the Creative Director behind the 2017 phenomenon PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, which has sold more than 20 million copies since its launch on Steam Early Access in March 2017.
Founder and chairman of Fnatic, Sam Mathews, and Rahul Sood, CEO of Unikrn, also join the stellar lineup of Featured Speakers at SXSW Gaming that includes esports luminaries Christina Alejandre (ELEAGUE), Steve Arhancet (Team Liquid), Brendan Donohue (NBA 2K League), Nate Nanzer (Overwatch League), and Pete Vlastelica (Major League Gaming).
SXSW Gaming announced that it will be working with Next Generation Esports (NGE) to bring some of the most competitive gaming titles to this year’s Tournament Stage.
