Lionsgate has announced a home entertainment release date for Dust Bunny, an R-rated fantasy thriller reuniting Mads Mikkelsen with Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller. The movie releases on 4K Ultra HD + Digital on April 28, 2026.
Starring alongside Mikkelsen in the movie is Alien icon Sigourney Weaver. Written and directed by Fuller, the film also stars Sophie Sloan, Shelia Atim, and David Dastmalchian.
The official synopsis for the movie reads, “Ten-year-old Aurora has an intriguing neighbor (Mikkelsen) who kills real-life monsters — a hit man for hire. When Aurora needs help killing the monster she believes ate her family, she procures his services. Suspecting that her parents may have fallen victim to hit men gunning for him, Aurora’s neighbor guiltily takes the job. To protect Aurora, he’ll need to contend with an onslaught of assassins, a mysterious associate with killer heels (Weaver), and accept that some monsters are real in this fantastical and wickedly inventive feature directorial debut from visionary creator Bryan Fuller.”
