One of the greatest horror movie franchises of all time began with Kevin Tenney’s 1988 film, Night of the Demons. Starring Amelia Kinkade as party girl Angela Franklin, the first movie begins when a group of teens holds a party at an abandoned mortuary which is inhabited by a sinister presence. One by one, the teenagers are killed off, with each one joining the ranks of the demons after they are dead. The film was an instant cult classic and wound up producing two sequels and a 2009 remake.
Fans of the franchise will be especially excited to know that an extensive documentary covering the whole series is currently in the works. Featuring new interviews with many cast and crew members like director Kevin Tenney and star Linnea Quigley, the doc will even be hosted by Amelia Kinkade herself. All four movies in the series will be covered extensively, and needless to say, this doc is going to be must-see for any horror fan.
