NECA and Kidrobot are teaming up again to introduce three new characters to their line of horror-inspired Madballs, and we need them all right now.
Revealed at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), the “Horrorballs” will next see Chucky from Bride of Chucky, Pennywise from 2017’s It, and Pinhead from Hellraiser added to the line-up. While in some ways, these new Madballs are grotesque, they’re also oddly among the most adorable depictions of the otherwise dastardly horror movie characters.
Of course, these aren’t the first Horrorballs Madballs to be released publicly. Back in 2017, NECA and Kidrobot collaborated on introducing a line of the Madballs toys based on popular horror movie slashers.
At the time, the first ones to be introduced were Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street, Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th series, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and a Xenomorph and Nostromo crew member from Alien. Like these new ones, the Madballs were so awesomely unique that they practically demanded to be added to every horror collector’s collection.

The three new Madballs are doing the predecessors justice, as they each look amazing in their own ways. They might stand out when sitting on the shelf if you have visitors over, so if nothing else, they’d make for a great conversation piece.
These guys are expected to hit store shelves in November, just in time for the holiday season. As we rapidly blaze through this year’s summer to approach autumn, that’s really going to feel like no time at all before winter is here.
