Courtesy of the wonderful people at Super7, our favorite feline warriors from the ’80s are coming back in a new line of detailed action figures for the company’s ThunderCats Ultimate action figure line. Standing at 7 inches tall, each of the figures are super-articulated and come with a large variety of their own unique interchangeable parts and accessories. For the collectors out there, they each also come in their own deluxe slip-case window boxes to look great on display.
Two heroes and two villains are included in the first wave of these Ultimate figures from Super7. Of course, Lion-O leads the pack, joined by fellow ThunderCat Panthro. But the ThunderCats need villains to thwart, which is where Mumm-Ra also comes in as a part of the set along with the evil mutant Jackalman. While we hope other fan favorites like Cheetara and Snarf are also on the way, this is still undoubtedly an awesome set to kick off the Ultimate line with.

While the ThunderCats franchise recently made its return to television with the premiere of the reboot series ThunderCats Roar on Cartoon Network, most fans can agree nothing can ever top the original show from the ’80s. Still, it’s nice to see the reintroduction of the series to a new generation, even if the updated animation style leaves fans of the original perplexed. At least we’ll soon enough have our own Ultimate action figures to remember the classic.
