Never Hike Alone is finally getting a follow-up, as the team behind the popular Friday the 13th fan film has just launched the Indiegogo campaign for the next installment. Called Never Hike in the Snow, the next fan film will be a winter-set prequel, taking place three months before the events of the first movie. Better yet, the campaign also reveals Womp Stomp Films’ plans to create three additional sequels as well: Never Hike Again, Jason Takes Crystal Lake, and The Final Hike.
Of course, Thom Mathews will be back in Never Hike in the Snow as Tommy Jarvis. He’ll be joined this time by Jason Lives co-star Vinny Guastaferro reprising the role of Sheriff Rick Cologne. Replacing writer/director as Ghost Jason will be franchise star Douglas Tait, who played Jason Voorhees in the final scene of Freddy vs. Jason. DiSanti will be writing and directing the upcoming installments as well, and you can watch him speak about the upcoming projects in the campaign video below.

Never Hike in the Snow is a prequel set 3 months prior to the events of Never Hike Alone that follows the strange disappearance of Mark Hill, a Crystal Lake resident who went for a hike in the dead of winter and never came home.
Never Hike in the Snow is the first of four new entires that will complete “The Never Hike Alone Web Series” and bring the story of Kyle Mcleod, Tommy Jarvis, Rick Cologne, and Jason Voorhees to an epic final conclusion.
That’s not all. The Never Hike Alone team has also created a Friday the 13th themed music video called “Disappear.” Using music from Trevor Vaughan, it features a new killing spree at the hands of Ghost Jason, and you can watch it below.
