Ahead of the return of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs this month, Fright-Rags has revealed their officially-licensed Joe Bob Briggs action figure. On April 24, Season 2 of Joe Bob’s new series will kick off on Shudder, bringing some much-needed entertainment to horror fans craving more content. A few days before, on April 21, Fright-Rags will be honoring the occasion by selling their new retro-style figures for Joe Bob for a limited time as stated by the company on Twitter.
One look at the reveal image for the figure makes it instantly apparent that this is a must-have collectible for any big Joe Bob fan. With an appropriate retro-style look, the Joe Bob Briggs action figure stands at 3.75″ tall with four points of articulation. According to Fright-Rags, he also comes with “1 set of drive-in speakers, 1 beer bottle, and beer fu grip.” Of course, considering how rare this figure will be, collectors may prefer to keep him in his packaging – but he would certainly look pretty rad to have on display.
Pre-orders will go live on Tuesday, April 21 exclusively at Fright-Rags.com. Priced at $20 a piece, the figures will only be sold for a five-day window and they’ll be limited to 1000 orders. Also be sure to tune in when The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs premieres its second season on Shudder on April 24, coming just in time to celebrate the “Halfway to Halloween” mark. At this time, it’s not clear how many episodes will comprise the second season, but the first season consisted of nine. Past episodes are currently streaming now on Shudder.
