Own one of the most controversial films in recent history when The Hunt comes home on Blu-ray and DVD this summer. From Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Blumhouse, The Hunt hasn’t had the best of luck at theaters, to say the least. Initially pulled from its original release due to its offensive content, the movie’s official run on the big screen was cut short by COVID-19 concerns and movie theaters closing down.
Perhaps the film will fare much better on home video with its upcoming release this summer. First, The Hunt will be available to purchase digitally on May 26, followed by its official release on Blu-ray and DVD on June 9.

Synopsis: In this subversive satire, a group of elites gather for the very first time at a remote Manor House to hunt ordinary Americans for sport. But the elites’ master plan is about to be derailed because one of The Hunted, Crystal (Gilpin), knows The Hunters’ game better than they do. She turns the tables on the killers, picking them off one by one as she makes her way toward the mysterious woman (two-time Oscar® winner Hilary Swank, Million Dollar Baby) at the center of it all.
