Unsolved Mysteries has returned as a weekly podcast hosted by Jordan Murphy. In partnership with Audacy, the show is produced by the creators and producers of the long-running television and Netflix series. The podcast has expanded into video, featuring all-new unsolved cases from the vast Unsolved Mysteries database.
The new season of Unsolved Mysteries launched on October 29 on YouTube and wherever podcasts are available. New episodes will be released weekly on Thursdays. In addition, updates on cases previously profiled on the Unsolved Mysteries podcasts and original television series will be released on select Tuesdays throughout the season.
The show explores cases spanning mysterious murders, strange disappearances, wanted fugitives, and unexplained deaths. This season will explore some of the most enduring mysteries, including the disappearance of Amelia Earhart, the vanishing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, and the still-unsolved heist at Boston’s Stewart Gardner Museum.
The series also sheds light on lesser-known, emotionally gripping mysteries that deserve more attention. Many of these cases come directly from Unsolved Mysteries fans who share their stories in search of the truth.
“We’re thrilled to be expanding the Unsolved Mysteries brand in this pivot to the video podcast world,” said Terry Dunn Meurer, President and CEO of Unsolved Media, Inc., and co-creator of Unsolved Mysteries. “There are still so many mysteries that need to be solved, and we know we can reach a wide audience on YouTube and through Audacy’s distribution. And we hope our audience can help solve these mysteries, as they have for decades.”

“Unsolved Mysteries has an incredibly passionate audience and a legacy that continues to resonate across generations, and we’re excited to bring the podcast into a new era with video,” said Leah Reis-Dennis, Head of Podcasts, Audacy. “With Jordan Murphy at the helm and all-new cases to explore, this next chapter brings a fresh dimension to a beloved franchise and offers advertisers new opportunities to engage with a devoted fanbase across both audio and video.”
