Etsy seller What Ganon Is Up To is selling some amazing drink coasters, and for horror fans, a set based on classic horror films made into NES games is particularly awesome.

As pictured, the set includes 8-bit imagery from these classic movie-based NES video games: A Nightmare on Elm Street, Jaws, Friday the 13th, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Beetlejuice, Predator, Swamp Thing, and Ghostbusters. Those who purchase the set will also be given “an extra super secret coaster to make it a set of 9!” According to the listing, the coasters are “printed on hard plastic that will not fade, scratch, or break,” and all 4″ pieces are included with each set.
Maybe the Angry Video Game Nerd isn’t too fond of many of these titles, as seen in some of his scathing video reviews. Still, many fans (myself included) have a fond nostalgia for all of them. Even the ones that were impossible to beat without using a Game Genie still had a certain charm to them, and there were many hours of my own childhood spent on these classic games. Friday the 13th is probably a personal favorite, as like many other fans, I’m particularly fond of the unique purple and turqoise Jason Voorhees design.
With free shipping in the United States, the set is currently listed at $16. You can pick up the NES horror coaster set by visiting the official Etsy listing, and you can also check out the seller’s shop page for more rad collectibles. The 5-star seller also offers 20% off of orders of three or more sets. Some of the other options include coasters based on other properties like Sunset Riders, Mortal Kombat, WWF WrestleFest, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and Saturday Night Slam Masters.
