Starring and written by Brea Grant, Lucky is a home invasion story directed by Natasha Kerman that is not afraid to take viewers on a winding path of hard truths until it reaches its conclusion.

May (Brea Grant) and her husband (Dhruv Uday Singh) are attacked by an unknown man (Hunter C. Smith) every night, forcing them into a fight to the death. With no one able help stop him, May must take matters into her own hands, and discovers something about herself along the way.

Lucky is a surreal viewing experience with a loud feminine voice, touching on subjects many women know all too well. This is combined with gruesome action scenes and a mystery that only deepens as it continues. The finale is sure to leave audiences reflecting long after the credits roll.

The film screened at the Nightstream Film Festival this weekend, and will be heading to Shudder in the near future.
