‘Scream 4’ is Streaming for Free on Facebook

Scream 4 (Dimension Films)

With Scream 5 currently in production, fans of the horror franchise can stream Scream 4 right now on Facebook. Before his death in 2015, Craven had served as the director for every installment of the Scream series, with Scream 4 serving as his final entry. Released in 2011, the film was seemingly going to be the final Scream movie with Craven no longer around, but work has since officially begun on Scream 5.

Scream 4 itself came as a bit of a surprise when it first went into production. It appeared that Scream would have served as a movie trilogy, especially considering Scream 3 wasn’t as well-received at the time as its predecessors. The film brought back series survivors Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), Dewey Riley (David Arquette), and Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox). Once again, a string of Ghostface murders breaks out, leaving Sidney and the others at the heart of yet another whodunit murder mystery.

Scream 4 also starred Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Anthony Anderson, Alison Brie, Adam Brody, Rory Culkin, and Nico Tortorella. The story is set on the 15th anniversary of the original Woodsboro murders carried out by Stu Macher and Billy Loomis. When Sidney returns to the town after a decade, the killings begin once again. Bringing back the meta humor, the film also spoofed the tropes commonly featured in horror franchise remakes. We won’t state who the killer is in this one here, in the event you haven’t seen the fourth film yet. It’s certainly worth watching, and if you can do it for free, you should check it out now to stay updated before Scream 5 makes its way to theaters in 2022.
