Michael Myers will return to theaters this year for the new sequel Halloween Kills, and Blumhouse has shared two new images of the white-masked maniac from the film. Original, the sequel was set to release last October, but the pandemic pushed Michael’s return until later this year. While the wait has been painful, a couple of sneak peek photos tweeted by Blumhouse should help hold you over a little bit longer. You can take a look at them in the tweet below, and they can also be seen in the new issues of Empire Magazine and Total Film.

A direct sequel to David Gordon Green’s Halloween reboot released in 2018, Halloween Kills is again directed by Green, who co-wrote the script with Danny McBride and Scott Teems. Jamie Lee Curtis is also back as Laurie Strode, along with Judy Greer as daughter Karen and Andi Matichak as granddaughter Allyson. James Jude Courtney also returns as Michael Myers, sharing the role with Nick Castle.
Several returning stars from the original Halloween by John Carpenter in 1978 are also reprising their roles. That includes Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam, Nancy Stephens as Marion Chambers, and Charles Cyphers as Sheriff Leigh Brackett. Anthony Michael Hall will play an adult Tommy Doyle, the young boy babysat by Laurie Strode who was played by Brian Andrews in the first film.
