Elvira's Haunted Hills
Shout Factory

Elvira’s Haunted Hills is getting an all-new Blu-ray release courtesy of Shout Factory. The new Collector’s Edition Blu-ray was announced by the company on Tuesday, and it’s now available for pre-order ahead of its street release date this fall.

Synopsis: The tale begins in 1851 when Elvira and her maid Zou Zou are en route to perform in the Parisian Revue “Yes I Can Can,” but inadvertently end up at the sinister Lord Vladimere Hellsubus’ medieval castle.

Bearing an uncanny resemblance to Vladimere’s long-dead wife, Elvira learns of the Hellsubus curse and finds her life in danger. Will she escape the family curse and the evil Vladimere? And can she keep her hands off of the stable hand long enough to save the day?

Released in 2001, Elvira’s Haunted Hills stars Cassandra “Elvira” Peterson alongside Richard O’Brien and Mary Scheer. Peterson also co-wrote the script with longtime collaborator John Paragon (R.I.P.), and Sam Irvin directed the film. A follow-up to the 1988 cult classic Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, the horror comedy is a fun film that’s a must-see movie for any big fan of the legendary horror host.

The extras are currently in progress and will be revealed at a later date.
