Rob Zombie is reflecting on 16 years of The Devil’s Rejects on the horror sequel’s 16th anniversary. Released on July 22, 2005, the film served as a direct sequel to Zombie’s directorial debut, House of 1000 Corpses. It follows the surviving Firefly family members — Captain Spaulding, Otis, and Baby — as they embark on a violent killing spree while evading the law. The three would later get back together for 3 from Hell, though many fans still fondly recall The Devil’s Rejects as a personal favorite from Zombie’s filmography.
As he works on pre-production for The Munsters, his next movie project, Zombie took a moment to look back at The Devil’s Rejects on its anniversary. He posted a series of images on his Instagram account to remember the good days he’d had with the cast and crew while working on the film.
