The cast and crew of The Munsters are wishing everyone the happiest of holidays from their home at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. Online, Rob Zombie has shared a new photo of his three main cast members in honor of Christmas Eve. It provides another look at the cast members who are growing on me more and more with every sneak peek.

In the photo, we can see Dan Roebuck as Grandpa, Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman, and Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily. These were the first three cast members to be officially revealed by Zombie. It has since been reported that the film will also feature Richard Brake and Sylvester McCoy in supporting roles, the former as a mad scientist and the latter as Igor the servant.

“Everything fell the way it should have, and Jeff (Daniel Phillips) is perfectly cast and he will be so entertaining in the part of Herman. Sheri (Moon Zombie) is so delightful as well,” Dan Roebuck told us of his casting in our exclusive interview. “I actually auditioned years ago for the part of Herman in one of the TV movies that didn’t turn out so well. It just wasn’t meant to be. I’m glad I didn’t land the role of Herman, and I’m not trying to talk down about that particular project but it’s not what Rob’s film will be.”

No plot details have been released about the reboot. What we know is that Rob Zombie has gone to great lengths to have the film maintain the spirit of The Munsters. This includes having the entire Mockingbird Heights neighborhood built from scratch along with 1313 Mockingbird Lane. Many behind-the-scenes photos have been released, but no official teasers or any footage has yet arrived.

The Munsters will reportedly release simultaneously in theaters and on Peacock, and a release date has yet to be officially announced.
