An all-new trailer has been released for the new sequel V/H/S/85.
Serving as the sixth chapter of the V/H/S series, V/H/S/85 puts an ’80s spin on the concept. This one features stories directed by David Bruckner (Hellraiser, The Night House), Scott Derrickson (The Black Phone, Sinister), Gigi Saul Guerrero (Bingo Hell, Culture Shock), Natasha Kermani (Lucky), and Mike Nelson (Wrong Turn).
In the movie, according to the synopsis, “An ominous mixtape blends never before seen snuff footage with nightmarish newscasts and disturbing home video to create a surreal, analog mashup of the forgotten ’80s.” The trailer can be viewed below.
The idea of the V/H/S movies sees different horror stories told through the point of view of VHS tapes containing standalone stories. Serving as a favorite for fans of found footage horror, the first V/H/S was released in 2012, going on to spawn a plethora of sequels.
