The result is something darkly humorous, where you might laugh because you’re nervous, and then realize the joke has teeth.”
While the film embraces the hallmarks of horror — sudden shocks, unsettling imagery, and buckets of blood — test audiences found themselves laughing as often as they screamed, describing the movie as “the perfect balance of funny and scary…with kind of Blair Witch vibes.”
