Eli Roth (ThanksgivingCabin Fever) is moving forward with his next horror project, and he’s enlisted a hip hop icon to star in the leading role.

Per Variety, rapper and actor Snoop Dogg is on board to star in Don’t Go in That House, Bitch!, the upcoming horror movie from Roth. It was previously announced that Snoop was on board as a producer along with contributing to the movie’s soundtrack. Roth also explained why Snoop wanted to join the project, hinting that it won’t be like any haunted house movie ever released before.

“He’s been wanting to do Death Row Films for a long time,” Roth was quoted as saying. “I said we need to make the ultimate haunted house movie, like the craziest one, something that mixes House, House by the Cemetery, Hausu, and Friday the 13th, like something so insane people can’t believe it exists. And we have to call it, Don’t Go in That House, Bitch!. And he’s going to star in it.”

Roth continued, “People keep going in the house. People don’t listen. ‘What are you doing, bitch? Don’t go in that house.’ People just keep going in. Like, ‘What are you doing? You’re not going to come out of there. Don’t do it. Turn around. Leave!’ It’s basically everything that we yell at the screen during horror movies. You put those as characters in the movie like a Greek chorus.”

No other cast members have yet been revealed for the film. Filming is slated to start in June of this year. Roth hinted that he’s currently working on budgeting with hopes to shoot in Los Angeles, California, so he can “have all L.A. people on it.”

Don’t Go in That House, Bitch! does not yet have a set release date.
