Corporate Retreat, a gory horror-dark comedy film from Passage Pictures and Western Film Services, has set its release date. First, the movie will make its world premiere at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF) on Sunday, April 5, 2026. This will be followed by a release in United States theaters on May 22, 2026.
“The commercial release strategy for Corporate Retreat is centered on the strongest horror markets in the country, supported by advance ticketing and targeted digital outreach to a broad range of genre audiences and influencers,” Joe Garel of Western Film Services stated. “The intent is to build a wide release strategy heading into the nationwide opening.”
The blood-soaked film has already been turning heads months ahead of its release, pulling in over 40 million trailer and social media views online. Early screenings have also garnered some high praise, which includes Tony Toscano of screenchatter.com referring to the film as “Shockingly good… a bloody good time!” One thing that’s clear is that even with its comedy elements, the unrated movie may be among the goriest releases of the year, boasting no shortage whatsoever of blood and gore.
The official synopsis reads, “Corporate Retreat is a savage horror–dark comedy that sends a group of ambitious young executives on a luxury team-building escape—only to strip it down into a brutal, blood-soaked fight for survival. Equal parts vicious satire and survival nightmare, the film skewers corporate culture while unleashing graphic carnage, pitch-black humor, and jaw-dropping twists that ensure nobody’s performance review is safe.”

The film stars Alan Ruck, Odeya Rush, Ashton Sanders, Rosanna Arquette, Sasha Lane, Kirby Johnson, Zion Moreno, Tyler Alvarez, Benjamin Norris, Elias Kacavas, and Ellen Toland. It is directed by Aaron Fisher, who co-wrote the script with Kerri Lee Romeo. Gary J. Tunnicliffe provided the special effects.
