A new sneak peek has arrived for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which is set to drop on May 29, 2026. The new video features an iconic scene recreated from Tim Burton’s Batman (1989) with the version of The Joker played by Jack Nicholson.
Reimagining the sequence where The Joker takes over the Gotham City museum, the preview is set against Prince’s “Partyman” song, which also debuted in the beloved movie.

The game is developed by TT Games, marking the latest chapter in the LEGO Batman universe. An action-adventure game, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight follows Bruce Wayne’s journey to become Batman, from the Dark Knight’s beginnings to legendary status.
It takes inspiration from decades of various Batman media, including movies, TV shows, comic books, and other games. Of course, that comes with adding in plenty of that signature LEGO humor.
