Five of the most iconic killers in horror history are coming to Funko’s new product line, Horror Savage World. Although Funko has always been known for their adorable cartoon-ish Pop! figures, they have been adding new lines and merchandise, even offering up breakfast cereal. The toy company has already made figures that appeal to horror fans, such as these awesome Jason Voorhees Pop! figures, but now they are stepping up their game with the Horror Savage World.
The 5 1/2 inch He-Man-esque action figures will feature the following horror villains:
1Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street)
Freddy Krueger, aka the dreamy Springwood Slasher, comes armed with his killer blades and sports his signature red and green sweater, or shreds of it.
2Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th)
Wearing his hockey mask and chain belt, Jason Voorhees is armed with an ax and sword, and is even showing a little rib!
3Leatherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre)
Texas’ favorite son, Leatherface, comes equipped with a chainsaw and large wooden mallet hand extension. Like Jason, he comes with a chain belt complete with a meat hook, as well as an apron, his classic human face mask, and some blood splatter to finalize the look.
4Michael Myers (Halloween: Resurrection)
This Michael Myers action figure, inspired by the eighth installment in the Halloween franchise, Halloween: Resurrection, has the slasher wielding two butcher knives, his iconic mask, and his blue jumpsuit.
5Pinhead (Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth)
Last, but certainly not least, is the Hell Priest himself, Pinhead, from the third Hellraiser film, Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth. Pinhead comes with his puzzle box and torture blade weapons, and a menacing scowl on his face.
There is no word on whether or not this is the first or final wave of Funko’s Horror Savage World line, or if we will get more horror villains in the future. Look for the action figures to come out in September.
