It’s going to be a good year for Friday the 13th fans. Jason Voorhees is expected to debut on the small screen with the launch of Peacock’s prequel series, Crystal Lake, sometime this year. Meanwhile, there will be three Friday the 13ths on the calendar this year, giving fans no less than three perfect days to revisit the classic films.

Just in time for the first Friday the 13th of the year, which falls in February, the original eight films originally released by Paramount are going to stream for free. For the month of February, all eight movies will be available to watch on Pluto TV. This is a free streaming service, allowing fans to binge all of the classic films leading up to Jason Takes Manhattan at no cost.

To be clear, the available titles include all of the following films:

  • Friday the 13th (1980)
  • Friday the 13th – Part II
  • Friday the 13th – Part III
  • Friday the 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter
  • Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning
  • Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives
  • Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood
  • Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Missing from the list are Jason Goes to HellJason X, and the 2009 reboot. The Nightmare on Elm Street crossover, Freddy vs. Jason, is also not included. Even so, the Paramount films all joining together on one free streaming home will give fans plenty to binge on Friday the 13th if they don’t happen to have the entire series on physical media. There’s no guarantee that they will similarly be bundled together again on the following Friday the 13ths in 2026.

This should also help tide fans over with the continued wait for another feature film. Through the new Jason Universe umbrella, it’s been reported that a new Friday the 13th movie is in development. What’s not known is just how far along that process is or when the next film, which will mark the 13th of the franchise, will be released. Meanwhile, at least one new Friday the 13th video game is also in the works, so coupled with the reported film and Crystal Lake on Peacock, there’s a lot of Jason Voorhees content that’s on the way.

Stream the first eight films for free on Pluto TV all month long in February!
