Apple TV’s Halloween lineup is serving spooky family favorites to stream all season long, including the return of the beloved animated fantasy-adventure series The Sisters Grimm. The series is based on Michael Buckley’s New York Times bestselling book series of the same name and premieres on Friday, Oct. 2.
Also available to stream now are the Halloween-themed Shape Island special, all three seasons of the award-winning live-action mystery series Ghostwriter, two seasons of DreamWorks Animation’s adventure series CURSES!, and the fan-favorite sci-fi anthology Circuit Breakers.
Plus, Apple TV will once again offer non-subscribers a free window to watch the beloved Peanuts classic It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18.
The Sisters Grimm Season 2

Based on Michael Buckley’s New York Times bestselling book series, The Sisters Grimm is a journey of adventure and heart about sleuth-solving sisters descended from the Brothers Grimm who, while very different, make a pretty great team.
In Season 2, one year after their parents’ mysterious disappearance, sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm continue to uncover the secrets of Ferryport Landing, where fairy tales and fairy-tale creatures are real, as they face new adventures and mysteries.

CURSES! follows Pandora, Russ, Alex and Sky Vanderhouven, a family cursed by their ancestors’ pillaging of ancient artifacts from across the globe. In season one, when their father Alex is turned to stone, the family bands together to return the stolen artifacts to their rightful homes and finally lift the curse for good.
After reversing the curse on an adventure of a lifetime, the second season picks up with Alex rejoining the family as they continue working to undo the damage their greedy ancestors caused. But when something about Alex doesn’t seem quite right, the family must band together to solve the mysteries that confront them, both on the road and within the walls of Briarstone Manor.

Shape Island Halloween Special Creepy Cave Crawl

In the standalone Halloween special titled Creepy Cave Crawl, after Triangle pranks them, Circle and Square celebrate Halloween on their own with all treats and no tricks. Apple TV’s funny and inspiring stop-motion animated series takes place on a charming island. It invites viewers to join their silly adventures as they dig up some fun, search for answers, and build on their friendship — all while learning to navigate each other’s differences.
The series features the beloved familiar voices of Gideon Adlon (Blockers), Scott Adsit (30 Rock), Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows), and Yvette Nicole Brown (Disenchanted).
Shape Island was co-created by authors Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen, who serve as executive producers alongside Bix Pix Entertainment’s Emmy Award winners Kelli Bixler and Drew Hodges. Ryan Pequin serves as co-executive producer and head writer.

A reimagining of the hit early ’90s series from Sesame Workshop, each episode story arc is centered around literature, featuring classics such as L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and E.B. White’s Charlotte’s Web, plus new works commissioned from popular authors such as D.J. MacHale and Kwame Alexander.

Circuit Breakers is a half-hour anthology series about middle-schoolers in the near future, using science fiction as a backdrop to tell universal stories about growing up. The series was created by Melody Fox with executive producer Matt Hastings directing three episodes from the season, including the pilot.
Each installment features a sci-fi twist on kid-relatable stories, with the intent of prompting kids and families to ask themselves how they would act in each unique situation.
The gripping series highlights seven distinct stories with a cast including Callan Farris (Grimcutty), Nathaniel Buescher (APB), Veda Cienfuegos (Undone), Cole Keriazakos (Southside), Maz Jobrani (Immigrant), Cale Ferrin (Endlings), Quincy Kirkwood (Y: The Last Man), Arielle Halili (Less Than Kosher), Gavin MacIver-Wright (Odd Squad: Mobile Unit), Khiyla Aynne (13: The Musical), and Maya McNair (Clarice).
