Friday the 13th

Gun Media has confirmed dates for the much anticipated Friday the 13th: The Game beta! Friends and family will experience the game December 18-19, while all pre-order customers will be able to play December 20-23.

In addition, the game’s Executive Director, Randy Greenback, will be playing the beta live on Gun Media’s Twitch stream. You can catch that on December 23rd.

Just recently, the company had other awesome news for fans as they announced that Tommy Jarvis will appear in the game as a playable character. That news was sweetened by the fact that horror icon Thom Mathews will once again portray the character. You can check out footage below:

After the announcement of the game’s delay (which you can read about here), having a confirmed date for beta is very welcome news! Check out the game’s official Kickstarter page for more updates!

    • The first date is for friends and family of the companies making the game. The second is for anyone who has pre-ordered the game.

    • The beta is over, but the release date for the actual game is “Early 2017,” so hopefully within the next couple of months!

    • Betas take a lot of time and money. Getting it up on consoles takes a huge amount of both, so that is why Gun Media said they stuck with PC only.
