As the European football season draws to a close, the players are taking their holidays and the transfer rumors are rife. Another thing you can bank on is the annual release of EA’s FIFA titles.

As with every year, there is always a big debate as to who will be on the cover. Until FIFA 17, it was Lionel Messi four years on the trot. He is arguably the best player in world at present time. However, this year, Messi decided to promote FIFA’s rival, Pro Evolution Soccerso this time is different. FIFA 18 will feature Cristiano Ronaldo on the cover and offer players a Ronaldo Edition of the game.

EA have confirmed that more details in regard to the gameplay that will be showcased at E3 on June 10th. What we do know so far, is that there will be four versions.

The version missing from the above picture is the Legacy Edition, which is only available on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The other three versions are available on PS4, Xbox One and PC (via Origin). Pre-ordering is now live in preparation for its release on September 26, 2017.

We also know that the Legends aspect of the ultimate team have been given the boot in FIFA 18. Icons are now available for you to bolster your online world beaters. Additionally, Alex Hunter makes his return. The Journey is back, and this time with a bigger, more defining story-line. Lastly, we’ll see dynamic weather. This should be good, as it will most likely effect the ball movement if a traditional British summer was to roll in.

I always purchase the FIFA series, especially now with the RPG mode. E3 will show us more, and given the trailer below, I can’t wait. Stay tuned to HorrorGeekLife for more FIFA 18 and E3 coverage.
