To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Predator franchise, Dark Horse Comics is releasing some of its original stories in an over sized, deluxe hardcover volume.
The special release will featuring three classic mini-series, Predator: Concrete Jungle, Cold War and Dark River. For those of you that remember it, Predator: Concrete Jungle was the original sequel to the acclaimed movie, which starred the mighty Austrian Oak, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The story – which was written by Mark Verheiden and illustrated by Chris Warner – transplanted the alien hunters from the wild jungles of South America, to the concrete jungles of New York City, and featured an appearance by the brother of Schwarzenegger’s character.
The other featured stories include Predators at large in Siberia in Cold War, and the return of Schwarzenegger’s Dutch Schaefer character in Dark River. Both of which were acclaimed, and are still highly sought after to this day.
Predator: The Original Comics Series will be released via Dark Horse on June 27th, 2017.
