Today during Microsoft’s E3 conference, Project Scorpio was giving an official name: Xbox One X. The console will be released worldwide on November 7th and will cost $499 at launch.
Xbox One X games will be playable on the Xbox One and, while there are no Xbox One X exclusives, games will see enhanced features. Some of the features include 4K and gameplay capture at 60 frames per second. Players without a 4K television will still enjoy enhanced modes. It also introduces a feature called “retroactive screen capture,” which will enable players to browse through footage to take the perfect screenshot.
During the E3 briefing, we got to see Metro Exodus, Forza Motorsport 7, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, and other games playing on the Xbox One X. The console is available for pre-order now.
