This weekend is Rooster Teeth’s annual RTX event in Austin, TX. To celebrate, Rooster Teeth Games is hosting a free weekend for its newest published game, Battlesloths 2025: The Great Pizza Wars. They’ve also added 30 brand new challenges to complete with AI bots and more opportunities to earn more hats.
Some of the improvements, additions, and fixes to the game also include:
- Adding 30 Player Challenges, new UI and achievements!
- Fixing jawbreaker hazard in Cake World, with slices rendering and networking issues
- Reclaim slice match option added, slices matching your team will be reclaimed by player instead of picked up to return to base
- Tuned laser rifle. turn speed doubled. turn on cost lowered from .25 to .1
- Localization update to support challenges and other features.
- Credits fixed.
- Spacing out sloth intro better so names show correctly.
- Adding a few more loading screen tips…
- Pizza goal shows target goals as “x/targetPoints”
- Setting default button state for game mode.
- Fixing hats in dance animations.
- Dress up for the level hazard information area.
Battlesloths 2025: The Great Pizza Wars is a fast-paced twin-stick shooter that allows up to four players to compete, or AI. Players choose a colored sloth and dress it up in one of the hundreds of crazy hats available. Once the sloth is dressed and ready to party, the players go into battle in an attempt to collect the most pizza (points). The game features are over 20 weapons, multiple maps, and 4 game modes.
