It’s a great time to be a Halloween fan. Not only do we have our new movie to look forward to this month, but we’re also expecting several updates to come out of this year’s San Diego Comic Con. An official Halloween panel will take place, with Jamie Lee Curtis herself scheduled to appear.
Ahead of the panel, however, the SDCC poster for Halloween has been released, and it’s very pleasing to the eyes to say the least. In the image, we see a great shot of Michael Myers, though he’s not just lurking silently as he is in most of the other promotional materials. Now, The Shape has his signature kitchen knife in hand, and he seems to have just spotted a potential target. Is that Laurie Strode he sees in the distance?
Take a look at the beautiful new poster below!
The new Halloween films stars Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role as Laurie Strode. Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, and Virginia Gardner also star. Additionally, original Michael Myers actor Nick Castle is returning to don the mask once again, sharing the role with stuntman James Jude Courtney.
Synopsis: “A British documentary crew comes to the States to visit Michael in prison for a retrospective of the maniac’s night of terror — but their project becomes way more interesting when Myers escapes custody, retrieves his signature mask and seeks revenge on Laurie, with others naturally being part of his impressive career body count along the way.
In the decades following the fateful Halloween night that forever altered the former babysitter’s life, Laurie has armed and prepped herself for Michael’s inevitable return — to the detriment of her family, including daughter Karen and granddaughter Allyson.”
Be sure to watch the film when it hits theaters on October 19, 2018!
