Who’s ready for more Doctor Who? You will be after seeing the new Season 11 trailer!
San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) 2018 is now underway, and the hit BBC series held a panel to speak about the upcoming season. An all new trailer was shown, which gave fans a great look at Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor, along with her three companions — Graham (Bradley Walsh), Yasmin (Mandip Gill), and Ryan (Tosin Cole). Of course, Whittaker is the first woman to take on the titular role, and giving her three diverse companions only adds to this fresh new take on the series.
Compared to a teaser released days ago that only gave us the smallest peek at these characters, the trailer is enough to get every Whovian excited. While Whittaker was introduced as our new Doctor last year, taking the mantle from Peter Capaldi, we haven’t gotten to see her in action as the Doctor yet. This official trailer is barely 40 seconds long, but it should have you ready for the new episodes to get here. Take a look at it below!
Season 11 of Doctor Who will span ten episodes, along with a separate Christmas special. This season, there won’t be any two-parter episodes, with each one featuring a standalone story. An official premiere date hasn’t yet been named, but the BBC show will be back sometime this fall. Stay tuned for updates!
