Lake Mungo is an Australian psychological horror film that hits on so many levels. After a teenage girl named Alice suddenly dies, her family investigates strange occurrences in their house, believing that perhaps Alice is trying to communicate with them. What they end up discovering, however, is more disturbing than they ever imagined.
This is low budget genre filmmaking at its best.
